Design immersive experiences with confidence in UX for Augmented Reality: An Introduction for Designers by Nuria Quero. By the end of this course, you will be able to define key AR concepts and device types, apply core UX principles such as presence, agency, and affordance to 3D environments, and outline a clear UX strategy for an AR brief—including interaction, onboarding, and basic user testing considerations. This course demystifies augmented reality by bringing scattered information into one structured journey. You’ll move from understanding what AR is and how it works, into the foundations of UX for AR, and finally into designing within 3D space—exploring field of view, 2D vs. 3D interfaces, interaction patterns, and error management. Whether you’re a UX/UI designer curious about immersive tech, a product designer exploring spatial experiences, or a creative looking to enter AR, this class will help you approach projects with clarity and confidence. To be successful, you should have a basic understanding of UX design principles and digital product workflows. No prior AR experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to think beyond the screen.

By the end of this course with Nuria Quero, you will be able to design, build, and publish your first TikTok effects using Effect House—from setting up the tool to sharing your filter on TikTok. You’ll confidently navigate the interface, add 2D and 3D elements, use face tracking for makeup effects, experiment with visual scripting, and test and submit your work for review. This class is designed for aspiring AR creators, designers, content creators, and anyone curious about augmented reality who has never used Effect House before. No prior AR experience is required. To be successful, you only need a TikTok account and a computer capable of running Effect House—we’ll cover installation and setup together. Structured in three practical parts—platform and tool foundations, building a face-tracking makeup effect, and creating an interactive randomizer effect—you’ll learn by doing. Nuria guides you step by step as you build two complete effects from scratch, with downloadable assets and finished project files included. If you’ve ever wanted to turn your ideas into interactive filters seen by millions, this course gives you the skills and confidence to start creating right away.

By the end of this course with Nuria Quero, you will be able to design, build, and publish your own fully responsive portfolio website—moving seamlessly from Figma to Framer without writing a single line of code. You’ll learn how to structure and design your portfolio in Figma, transfer it using the Figma to Framer plugin, create CMS collections, link pages, design for mobile, add subtle animations, and publish to a custom domain. This hands-on class is structured in three practical parts: designing your portfolio in Figma, bringing it to life in Framer with CMS and interactions, and optimizing and publishing your site. Along the way, you’ll bridge the common gap between static design files and real, functional websites. This course is ideal for design students, junior designers, freelancers, and professionals who want to create or refresh their portfolio. To be successful, you should feel comfortable using a computer and navigating design tools, but no prior experience with Figma or Framer is required. Your portfolio is your calling card. In this course, you won’t just design it—you’ll launch it.
