There are 3 modules in this course
In this module, you explore various aspects related to data integration in three lessons. In the first lesson, you examine data integration and consider well-known implementation patterns. In the second lesson, you study data connectors and their necessity for effectively integrating data. In the last lesson, you learn about data integration operations management (DIOM). Additionally in this lesson, you explore DIOM-related issues including security, architecture, and the tools used in the field.
In this module, you explore various aspects related to data storage in three lessons. You’ll begin the module with an overview of data storage and key concepts. You will explore file, block, object, and hybrid storage architectures and their use cases. The second lesson focuses on cloud storage due to its ubiquitous use across all industries. In the third lesson, you learn about the significance of backups and common backup techniques.
In this module, you will explore data migration concepts, and related terminology. In lesson one, you will focus on migration architecture and differing processes to move data from one system to another. In the second lesson, you will learn about data moving to the physical location of an organization’s data centers as well as migration from one cloud to another. You will also complete a culminating project that ties together the topics you’ve learned in the course. In this scenario-based project, you take on the role of a junior data migration specialist at a fictional large retail chain. You will assist the lead architect in suggesting methods and processes to implement the provided data pipeline from legacy source systems to a unified data lake.
